Patrick Hardwoods

Established in 2025 in Philomath, Oregon, our sawmill cuts the hardwoods of the Pacific Northwest. We purchase logs from the region and produce rough-sawn lumber in the species that make our forests unique: alder, Oregon white oak, bigleaf maple, golden chinquapin, tan oak, and Oregon myrtle.

These are the trees that grow in the hills around us, in the Coast Range and the Willamette Valley. Many are underutilized or difficult to source consistently. We believe they deserve a better future. By turning local logs into quality rough lumber, we help craftsmen, manufacturers, distributors, and woodworkers create furniture, cabinetry, flooring, architectural millwork, turning stock, and other products that showcase the character of the Pacific Northwest.

Patrick Hardwoods is the newest company in the Patrick family of businesses. Since 1915, Patrick has built a reputation for quality lumber, trusted relationships, and dependable service. Our Philomath operation continues that tradition while creating new opportunities for the remarkable hardwood species native to our region. This mill is just getting going, and there is a longer story to tell about how it came together. We will tell it soon.

We’re builders at heart. We believe great lumber begins with great logs, thoughtful stewardship, and a commitment to doing things the right way. For now, two things: if you have hardwood logs to sell, we want to talk. If you need rough-sawn Northwest hardwood, we can cut it.
